The Instituut-Lorentz is at the second floor of the Gorlaeus building (who is Gorlaeus?). Enter behind a large round lecture hall, wing BW-2.
How to get there: Take a train to Leiden Central Station (20 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol airport). From the train station, you can either walk along the Rijnsburgerweg and the Wassenaarseweg (take the LUMC exit, 20 minutes), use a rental bike (OV-fiets), take a taxi, or take a bus (time table). Here is a detailed map of our neighborhood, and here is a map of downtown Leiden (connected to the detailed map in the upper left hand corner).
By car: Public parking at the Ehrenfestweg: a large garage with wooden frame in front of a round lecture hall with red roof. Cost 2 Euro/hour, which you may avoid by calling your host in advance to arrange free entry based on your license plate.
