How to get there:
Take a train to Leiden Central Station (20 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol airport). From the train station, your choices are to walk along the Rijnsburgerweg and the Wassenaarseweg (25 minutes), to take a taxi, or to take bus line 57 to Lisse (get off at bus stop "Snellius", just before a sharp curve in the Wassenaarseweg) or line 43 to Den Haag (get off at stop "Universiteitsterrein", near the UFO-shaped lecture hall building with the red roof). Both buses take less than 10 minutes, and depart from Leiden Central station twice every hour. Be sure to take the bus in the correct direction (either to Lisse or to Den Haag).
You may wish to look at a map of our neighborhood, or a map of downtown Leiden (connected to the detailed map in the upper left hand corner).

By car:
Take the A44 (which runs between Amsterdam and The Hague) and get off at the exit "Oegstgeest". Follow the main road towards Leiden until the roundabout (500 m), where you make a sharp turn to the right (first exit). Follow the Rhijngeesterstraatweg, then continue straight onto the Endegeesterstraatweg. When the road makes a curve to the left you can see the Oort building at your right. There is ample parking space. If you plan on taking the A4 instead of the A44 please follow these directions.
