FOM - Onderzoeknieuws

FOM top-40 van nieuwe 'hot papers' in de Nederlandse natuurkunde

FOM stimuleert vernieuwend onderzoek. Daarom onderzoekt FOM regelmatig wie de opkomende (internationaal opvallende) in Nederland werkende fysici zijn en wat de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in de natuurkunde zijn. Voor dit doel (scouting) is één van de informatiebronnen ons overzicht van 'hot papers'.
De FOM top-40 van 'hot papers' geeft:
- per 1 november 2001
- de 40 natuurkundepublicaties
- uit de periode van 1 januari 1999 tot heden
- waarvan ten minste één auteur een Nederlands adres heeft
- die gemiddeld PER MAAND het hoogste aantal citaties ontvingen
- exclusief zelfcitaties van elk van de auteurs.
FOM zal op haar website ieder half jaar zo'n 'top-40' publiceren van Nederlandse publicaties die in de afgelopen circa 3 jaar zijn verschenen.

Uiteraard voert FOM daarnaast met regelmaat ook citatie-analyses uit die veel langere perioden bestrijken. Die analyses geven een beeld over langjarige ontwikkelingen over de hele breedte van de natuurkunde.
